Chapter-8

This wasn’t any type of snow. This was MAGICAL snow. “It’s valemanium snow!”, cried Kendra reading from a textbook from her bag, “ITS FREEZES THE VICTIM!”. She sprinted forward and closed the door before any more snow could enter. She glanced around her shoulder to look at Chelsey and looked in front and almost immediately turned round again as she took in the scene. Chelsey had fainted and was breathing very slowly and all her brothers and sisters were surrounding her and her mother was calling on the telephone for her eldest sisters who were twins and both doctors. They both came rushing out of the front door 20 minutes later.

They were red- headed like most of their family and had a countless number of freckles. They had waist-length hair which were both in a neat ponytails. The thing that made them unimaginably unique were their lavender purple eyes. They were both wearing a checked brown t-shirts and had black colored cardigans on and had on a pair of jeggings each paired with red sneakers. They were also wearing two green studs on their ears. They took one look at Chelsey and knew that this was an emergency. They immediately rushed next to Chelsey and checked her heartbeat and pulse. One of the girl’s brow furrowed. ‘That’s odd.’, she told her mother. She had a very heavy British accent. She turned to her twin and said, ‘Ruby, go and make the bed with a lot of pillows and all the warm blankets.’ Ruby nodded and rushed up the dark blue marble staircase. ‘Oliver, go get a hot water bottle from the kitchen.’ He obeyed her. ‘Lavender, get a warm bath ready.’ She sprinted into a big blue bathroom and closed the bathroom door. The sound of water flowing into the bathtub and the pouring of bubbles of different types into it could easily heard.

‘What happened, Krystal? I’m worri-‘

‘Mum, she’s out cold. Like literally cold. Me and Ruby haven’t seen anything of this type.’

‘That’s because the snow is magical’

‘Wait, what? Mom? Are you sick too?’

‘No, honey’

Then she started to explain about magic and how Kendra was magical and stuff very,so very fast that even after she had finished the story, Ruby, Oliver and Lavender hadn’t come back yet. But to Mrs. Ralson’s great surprise instead of being shocked or unbelieving she stood on her knees and bit her lip.
