Chapter -11

 

Krystal hesitated. Kendra urged her to tell them. When Krystal didn’t tell them, Amelia breathed, ‘ Is it that bad?’ Krystal nodded and finally whispered something. No one heard her. Krystal took a deep breath and said,’ Tim had a fit and lost his ability to do magic. Of course, at first we thought he only had a fit because he was excited. But now that I know, everywhere I go I carry the burden with me.’ Kendra quietly asked, ‘What made George happy?’ ‘Well, for starters, we made a potion in which we had to give a big share of magic. Each one of us gave half of our magic. We thought that Tim also gave away half of it too. We didn’t know. We were too young to know the symptoms. Then we had to put a lot of ingredients. Tim even chopped one of his fingers off for the potion. Then we had to get a hair off George to make let the potion know that George was the one we wanted to bring happiness to. So, when George was sleeping, Tim took scissors and cut of a few strands of hair. Tim was ready to do anything else to just see his father give a genuine smile. Just once was enough for him. Just once. But the last ingredient was too much to ask for. We wanted it to be a surprise for his father but we needed him to give a big sacrifice. So, Ted told George what we were up to. He said these exact words which were music to Tom and Ted’s ears, “Anything? Our deepest desires of our heart? Even the dead? How could I have missed this in all my years of searching how to bring back Fred?  Are you a 100% sure?- Yes? I’m so proud of you four! I feel like yelling on the roof top. Wait I’ll tell mum, Ron, Hermione, Harry, Ginny, Bill, Charlie, dad and Percy. Wait I have to do something? All I’ve to do is to chop off my other ear and a finger? Anything!” After that he told all the Weasleys and his mum actually hugged me so hard my ribs still ache when I squeeze it after Tim told her that it was my idea.’ Interested, Kendra asked Krystal, ‘Did Fred come back to life?’ Krystal nodded. ‘Then what happened? He was over the moon, right?’, James breathed. ‘No,’, Krystal answered, ’He was over the galaxy. Fred was really confused. He said one second, he was on his broomstick and the next, he was standing next to his 43 year old brother. Then Fred was really scared ‘ cause he didn’t know whether Voldemort had been defeated or not. Then he went ballistic when he saw that his twin brother was so old Then he asked where Harry Potter was. Whether Harry was dead or not. He only calmed down when George told him about ‘The Battle of Hogwarts’ and how Fred died and we brought him back. Then he literally picked up Tim and Ted and shouted about how he was so proud to have them as his nephews. Then his mum called a family meeting and invited Harry Potter, Hermione Granger/ Weasley, her children, their families and Ted Lupin. When everyone entered the hall, the children were groaning in the prospect of being separated from their friends. The parents were telling there children off. But, when they saw Fred and George together, they stopped abruptly. ‘How did you duplicate yourself and make yourself young and grow your ear back’ George looked playfully polite and said in a posh voice, ‘ Ladies and gentlemen may I introduce you to the best man on earth, Fred Weasley?’ Fred pretended to blush and said, ‘ Oh, stop George your embarrassing me.’ They all looked at Mrs. Weasley, shocked. She nodded. ‘ George if this is one of your jokes, stop, now’ , said Ron Weasley. Then Hermione Granger told him, ‘ It’s not. Even though he’s a real prankster he’s never in his whole entire 50 years pulled a single prank without Fred.’ Then everyone one from the old Mr. Arthur Weasley to the young Harry Potter pounced onto Fred trying to touch him
