Chapter - 7
Suddenly and very eerily the forest next to the house shifted its branches in a way by which the children and Mrs. Ralson shivered. Then out of nowhere it a heavy wind found its way to the group. Then Chelsey took her wand and said, ‘Condrithu’, then a few moleskin cloaks appeared and hugged every one tightly. ‘Come on let’s get inside! I’ve always wanted to see a muggle’s house!’, she cried excitedly. Kendra laughed at her enthusiasm and took her mom’s handbag and shuffled around in it. Then Chelsey raised her wand and asked,’ May I?’ Kendra looked at her mum and Mrs. Ralson nodded. ‘Evrima Mrs. Ralson’s key’, she muttered. An old key with a battered head flew out of the big blue bag and landed in Chelsey’s outstretched hand. Chelsey gave the key to Lavender and she opened the door and everyone burst in to escape from the cold right before it snowing. Chelsey looked at the photos and cried, ‘ How did you manage to make the photos stand still? I’ve been trying to do that for years?!?!’ ‘Photos? Moving?’, Amelia asked puzzled. That was when it was Chelsey’s turn to look shocked and ‘ No. No. No. Noooo. Don’t say that photos don’t move in the non- wizarding world.’ ‘I won’t tell you that photos don’t move in the ‘ non- wizarding’ world. You already found that one out.’ Amelia said in a matter-of-fact tone which shocked Chelsey. ‘WEIRD!’, Chelsey stated. ‘Come on single file every one into the hall.’, Mrs. Ralson ordered everyone. Every one marched into the room and took a seat in the sofa which was big enough to fit everyone comfortably. Then Chelsey jumped up breathed quietly to Mrs. Ralson, ‘ Can I go to the front door for a second?’ Mrs. Ralson nodded, puzzled. Chelsey ran to the front door immediately. She had sensed danger.
Outside, it was snowing heavily and all the garden gnomes were gently covered in snow. Chelsey stepped onto the front porch. BAM.
Chelsey collapsed onto the floor rigid and hard.
